Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Camp Benesi! It is important that you understand that as a volunteer, you will be expected to work, and it can be hard but enjoyable work. As a volunteer, there are a few different roles you can play; from helping with set-up and break-downs, helping to transport families to and from activities, helping prepare meals, being a family liaison, being a mommy's helper and more. Each of these roles require dedication, time and effort and while it can be alot of work, it is so completely rewarding. 

Volunteers will need to be available for 1-2 hours a month prior to camp for online camp meetings. As we get closer to camp, this could increase by an hour or two a month. Please make sure that you are available for most of these meetings (normally on Sunday afternoons) and the dates of camp. Camp dates for this year are July 28th through August 1st. You will need to be available on these dates. We do prefer if you are available the entire time, but we may be able to work with just a few days of availability.

Lastly, background checks will be completed for each applicant. Having a prior history does not automatically exclude you, so please be honest. We will be reaching out to volunteers starting at the end of February.
